How to request a review or removal of copyrighted content.
DMCA policy
DroidNux respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). Copyright owners, legal representatives, developers, studios or companies can use this channel to request review, correction or removal of content.
Before you submit
Please make sure your notice includes all the required information. Incomplete or generic notices, or notices that do not identify the material in question, may require more details before any action is taken.
Required information
- The full URL of the page on DroidNux.
- A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
- Identification of the copyright owner.
- Proof of ownership or authorization to act on the owner’s behalf.
- Your name, email address and a valid way to contact you.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate.
What happens next
After receiving a complete notice, DroidNux may remove, disable, review or correct the content, or request additional information. Each notice is reviewed based on the information provided and the nature of the content.
Counter-notice
If content was removed by mistake, the party responsible for it may send a counter-notice with clarification, proof of authorization, identification of the material and the reason for a new review.
False or abusive notices
Submitting false, incomplete, automated or abusive notices may delay the review and may carry legal liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please send only accurate information related to the content in question.
